Grateful Dead to Reunite and Play 3 Shows for 50th Anniversary

This year marks the Grateful Dead's 50th Anniversary. To celebrate, they will be playing 3 shows in Chicago from July 3rd-5th! The shows will take place at Soldier Field, the same venue where the Grateful Dead played their final show with late singer Jerry Garcia exactly 20 years ago. Current members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann will be joined by Phish frontman Trey Anastasio and pianist Bruce Hornsby, who used to tour with the band during the 80s and 90s. As awesome as this sounds, it is likely that these 3 shows will be the last that the 4 members will play together. It's a bit bittersweet, but something I know I will not miss. Tickets go on sale February 14th, so don't miss out!
